DealForStudent (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with
dealforstudent.com (the “Site”) and related features, including optional accounts, newsletters, and forms. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site.

Scope & Role
We are a student deals aggregation site. We do not sell or issue the offers listed and we do not perform student identity verification on our Site.
When verification is required, it occurs on merchant or third-party platforms (e.g., UNiDAYS, Student Beans, SheerID). Those platforms have their own privacy policies.
Information We Collect
- Account & Profile (optional): email address, display name, basic profile data if you sign up or use social/OAuth sign-in; preferences (favorites, alerts).
- Contact & Communications: messages and metadata you send via forms (e.g., contact, submit a deal), your email address, and our replies.
- Submissions & UGC: deals, corrections, comments, attachments/links you choose to submit.
- Technical & Usage Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location, and cookies or similar technologies.
- Newsletter (if enabled): email address and subscription preferences.
We do not request or store student IDs, transcripts, or similar sensitive identity documents on our Site.
